Does Outlook have a dictation tool?

Outlook has a dictation tool built in: the Dictate button on the Message ribbon, included with Microsoft 365 subscriptions across Windows, Mac, and the web. Click, speak, and your words land in the compose window.

Microsoft has built-in dictation beyond Outlook too. Windows key plus H opens voice typing in any text field on Windows 11, and Word, OneNote, and PowerPoint carry the same Dictate feature. To turn email dictation on, you generally just need to be signed in with a 365 account and grant mic access.

What none of these do is finish the writing: fillers stay, structure is yours to add. They transcribe; the composing is still on you.
